The annual Commitment to Service Award is produced and supported by the Montgomery Sunrise Rotary Club .

Rotary is an international organization of local clubs, who's members gather together to share friendship, business networks and pool their abilities together to make a positive difference in the world around them. 

First Chartered in 1995, The Montgomery Sunrise Rotary Club is the youngest and smallest of three Rotary clubs in the Montgomery area. The club meets every Friday Morning at 7:00am for breakfast at the Capitol City Club, located at 201 Monroe Street in downtown Montgomery, Alabama.

Being the youngest or smallest does not keep this club from being an effective member of the civic club community. The Commitment to Service Award event is only one of many efforts that the club participates in on an ongoing basis to support the community. From Toys for Tots, to the Montgomery Water Festival; the Walk for Diabetes to the Montgomery Foodbank; Camp ASCCA for disabled children to the American Cancer Society, you will find the Montgomery Sunrise Rotary Club at many areas in the Montgomery community with open hearts, open checkbooks and often calloused and dirty hands from working in the trenches to improve the world for those in their community. For a big dose of 'Service Above Self', the Rotary Motto, visit the Montgomery Sunrise Rotary Club! But be careful!
