The Commitment to Service Award |

The Commitment to Service Award is held each year by the Sunrise Rotary Club to honor an individual in the Montgomery / River Region area for their efforts and achievments in serving their community. This award ceremony includes a fine dining dinner and a Roast of the honoree by several individuals who have known them for some time and can share with us some of their memories of the relationship they have with our honoree and have a little laugh at their expense as well. The evening also includes a silent auction as well. Funds raised by corporate sponsorship, ticket sales and the silent auction are used to support a specific charitable organization who is also a part of the evening's events, sharing information and images of their work.

The Montgomery Sunrise Rotary Club has the honor this year to host a wonderful evening
of fine dining honoring Mrs. Lynn Beshear for her commitment to service
benefiting
her fellow man. For four years now, we have welcomed many esteemed members and
noteworthy organizations from the Montgomery community to gather
together with us to help roast our honoree. This year, our ticket sales, corporate
sponsorships
and proceeds from our silent auction, will help the Montgomery Sunrise Rotary
raise over $10,000 to assist Camp ASCCA in finishing out their 2,800 square foot, fully accessible water playground. The water playground will be the first of it kind at Camp ASCCA.
